Montecarlo and wine/oil tasting
Montecarlo is a lovely hamlet in the province of Lucca, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. We will visit the imposing “Rocca”, the ancient fortress on top of the hill which is still inhabited by a very nice family who proudly takes care of it. Along the main street you will also see the Church of St. Andrea and ruins of the wall that originally surrounded this little village. Transfer to one of the most renowned wineries of this area for a visit and tasting of local wines and olive oil with cold cuts.

I will tell you about the history, anecdotes and curiosities of each place of interest and monument along the way.
Easy Access
The historic center of Montecarlo can be easily explored on foot and offers a wide choice of nice places where to have a drink or something to nibble on at your convenience.
